The Fund plays a key role in ensuring transparency and accountability of the compulsory social health insurance system, contributing to improving public health and the efficient use of health resources.

Types of activities:

The Social Health Insurance Fund accumulates payments from the state, employers and the public.

Plans the volume of medical care, assessing the needs of the population and determining the necessary volumes of services, conducts the purchase of medical care through the procurement portal, and concludes contracts with suppliers.

Monitors the quality and accessibility of medical care to the public, and also makes payments to medical organizations for services provided to the public.

Conducts active information and explanatory work among the population, health workers, employers, government agencies and suppliers about the benefits of the CSHI system and insurance.

He takes an active position in protecting the rights of patients, acting as an ombudsman. The Foundation receives daily requests from patients, each of which is considered individually.
