Hydrographic Support Service of the Navy of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The Hydrographic Support Service is designed to provide navigational and hydrographic support for maritime routes in the Kazakhstan sector of the Caspian Sea in accordance with the current requirements of the International Maritime Organization.

Tasks:

1. Participation in the development and implementation of state policy in the field of navigational and hydrographic support for maritime activities.
2. Coordination across sectors in the field of navigational and hydrographic support for maritime activities.
3. Participation in the development, preparation, and implementation of navigational guides and aids for navigation, and maintaining them at the appropriate level.
4. Representation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in international organizations in the field of navigational and hydrographic support.
