The main tasks and functions of the Arkalyk customs post are to ensure compliance with the customs and other legislation of the Customs Union and the Republic of Kazakhstan, the control over the execution of which is entrusted to the state revenue bodies; customs control over compliance with the conditions for placing goods under customs procedures and completing their actions; customs control over compliance with the conditions of customs procedures; organization of customs control fissile and radioactive materials and the effective use of technical means of customs control; implementation of measures for the effective use of technical means of customs control for the purpose of disclosure, detection and fixation of contraband of goods and vehicles and violations of customs rules; interaction with territorial divisions of the department of the authorized body in the field of veterinary medicine and the authorized body in the field of plant quarantine in terms of disinfection, destruction, disposal; organization of cooperation in carrying out transport, veterinary, phytosanitary, sanitary control; carrying out customs control over compliance with the conditions for placing goods under customs procedures and completing their validity; organization and conduct of customs operations preceding the filing of a customs declaration (for export/import); compliance with prohibitions and restrictions when moving goods across the customs border of the Customs Union; application of the "Astana-1 customs transit system", organization of integrated control on customs post and interaction with authorized bodies; organization and control of work on the execution at the customs checkpoint of the functions of sanitary and quarantine control, transport control, veterinary and sanitary control and plant quarantine control; customs declaration of goods and vehicles for personal use
