Compliance with the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, over which the Department exercises jurisdictional control, participation in the implementation of the state policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan; ensuring the full and timely VAT payment to the budget, control over implement of utilization rate of VAT; alidity and timeliness of the return of excess VAT amounts from the budget according to the taxpayers' requirements for the return of excess VAT amounts, including using information systems; ensuring the effectiveness of tax administration of excise taxes, the completeness and timeliness of budget receipts, monitoring the implementation of the reported indicators for this type of tax, including using information systems (IS Excise, IS "UKM", "E-licensing"); enforcing tax laws, legislation on ethyl alcohol and alcoholic goods, tobacco products, fur products, certain types of petroleum products and biofuels; ensuring of quality delivery of public services in accordance with the standards and regulations of public services.
