Secrets of the Shilikta Valley
Leningrad scientist - archaeologist S.S. Chernikov in 1947-1960, having visited the Shiliktinskaya valley for the first time in his life, discovered the secrets of the steppe, while making a scientific conclusion. His expedition began excavating hills with a diameter of 100 m and a height of 8 meters. At the same time, objects of gold with diamond stones in the form of a deer, wild boar, golden eagle were found. During the years of Soviet power, they were taken to the Leningrad Hermitage and remained there. A wonderful monument of the East Kazakhstan steppe - Shiliktinskiye kurgans. There are now 51 of them. The diameters of 13 of them are 100 meters, the height is 8-10 meters. The rest with a diameter of 20 meters to 60 meters, a height of 2 to 5 meters. This suggests that for hundreds of years people who were the leaders of the tribe and clan were buried in these graves. Archaeological work has helped to give the original appearance of these tombs. A pit was excavated with a depth of 1 meter and an area of 58 m2. The walls are made of two, and the ceiling is made of several logs. Archaeological research carried out in 2003 under the guidance of Professor Abdesh Tashkenovich Toleubaev at "Baig Tobe" provided new information. According to archaeologists, the structure of these graves is completely subject to geometric laws. The beginning of this chain stretches from "Akoba" on the territory of the People's Republic of China, then on our territory "how" - here "Hanoba", the next "Kosoba" and "Shaganoba". The remaining 57 are their continuation.
