
On November 22, 2024, the results of the regional competition "Or Altaidyn oreni", dedicated to the life and work of an outstanding teacher, poet, member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, Honorary citizen of the Katon-Karagai district Tolegen Rakymzhanuly, were summed up in the East Kazakhstan Regional Library named after A. S. Pushkin.
The purpose of the competition was to popularize Tolegen Rakymzhanuly's legacy, especially among young people, and the formation of such high moral qualities as morality and love for his country through the poet's work. The organizers also sought to develop creativity among the younger generation and help the participants of the competition to unlock their potential in the field of literature.
The competition was held in two categories:
A poetic dedication to the memory of Tolegen Rakymzhanuly, in which aspiring poets could present their own poems inspired by the work of the great countryman.
The winners in this nomination are:
1st place - Aydoskyzy Aruzhan (Bolshenarymsky district, Kokbastau village, 9th grade student);
2nd place - Kayratkyzy Jaidar (Ulan district, 9th grade student "Kasym Kaysenov village Secondary School");
3rd place - Beibitkhankyzy Ayim (East Kazakhstan Humanitarian College, 1st year student)
A special prize was awarded to Akerke Nurbolkyzy (secondary school No. 20 named after A. Baitursynov, a 10th grade student)
The second nomination is an expressive reading of Tolegen Rakymzhanuly's poems, where the participants demonstrated the mastery of intonation, expressiveness and emotions when reading the poet's works.
1st place - Nursalyk Aldiyar (Katon-Karagai district, Arshaty secondary school);
2nd place - Bakytbek Bekzhan (school No. 35, 10th grade student);
3rd place - Kayrat Asanali (school No. 49, 11th grade student);
The special prize is Suleimenova Zamira.
The daughter of the famous poet and teacher Tolegen Rakhimzhanov, Zhanar Tolegenkyzy, came to the competition. She became the guest of honor of the event and presented memorable prizes to the participants. Zhanar Tolegenkyzy expressed gratitude to all participants of the competition for preserving the memory of her father and stressed that such events play an important role in educating young people, strengthening patriotism and love for their native land.
This competition has become a bright event that united the creative youth of the region and left an unforgettable impression on all participants and viewers.
