
On the eve of the holiday in the VK regional library named after A.S. Pushkin hosted an event dedicated to one of the most significant events for every citizen of Kazakhstan - Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The interactive literary exhibition “Tugyry biik Tauelsizdik” was presented to the attention of library users, which contains books and periodicals telling about the history of independence.
Also, as part of the holiday program for children and teenagers, a media lesson “Tauelsizdik - tugyrym!” was held, during which young people were told in detail about the importance of sovereignty and independence for the country and society, and about the participants in the December 1986 events.
On December 13, the opening of a photo exhibition dedicated to the traditional international berkutchi festival “Shygys Salburyny - 2024” took place, which took place from September 10 to 14 in our region. Representatives from Mongolia, China, Hungary, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation took part in the festival. These photographs allowed visitors to see the best moments of the event, and famous golden eagles introduced the features of traditional hunting competitions and answered questions from the audience.
Also, during the holidays, an interview was held with a participant in the December events of 1986, chairman of the East Kazakhstan regional public association “JELTOQSAN 86” Ramazanov Marat Aitakhmetuly, who shared his views on the key events of that time and their impact on the formation of independence of Kazakhstan. These events, held in the library, became an important contribution to the preservation of the historical memory of Independence Day and contributed to deepening knowledge about the significance of this holiday for the citizens of Kazakhstan.
