The state service "Confirmation of residency of the Republic of Kazakhstan" is carried out :
1) through the non–profit joint stock company "Government for Citizens State Corporation" (hereinafter referred to as the State Corporation);
2) through the e-government web portal www.egov.kz (hereinafter referred to as the portal).
To confirm the residency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a tax application for confirmation of residency is submitted at the place of location, stay (residence).
The following documents are attached to the tax application for confirmation of residency:
1) a notarized copy of the document confirming the presence in the Republic of Kazakhstan of a place of effective management (location of the actual management body) of a legal entity (minutes of the general meeting of the board of directors or a similar body indicating the place of its holding or other documents;
2) a copy of the identity card or passport of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
3) foreigners and stateless persons who are residents – notarized copies:
- a foreign passport or a certificate of a stateless person;
- residence permit in the Republic of Kazakhstan (if any);
-a document confirming the period of stay in the Republic of Kazakhstan (visa or other documents);
4) a foreigner or a stateless person who is an investment resident of the Astana International Financial Center:
- a notarized copy of a foreign passport or a certificate of a stateless person;
- a notarized copy of the document confirming the period of stay in the Republic of Kazakhstan (visa or other documents);
- a copy of the document confirming the payment of the fee for the issuance of a residence document;
- a confirmation letter issued by the Administration of the Astana International Financial Center for the relevant period, in the form established by the act of the Astana International Financial Center on making investments in accordance with the investment tax residency program of the Astana International Financial Center;
A confirmation letter issued by the internal affairs body stating that a foreigner or a stateless person is not a person whose citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been terminated during the last twenty years preceding the initial application for participation in the investment tax residency program of the Astana International Financial Center. The confirmation letter issued by the internal affairs body must contain information about the foreign passport of a foreigner or a certificate of a stateless person.
The document confirming the residence is issued for the calendar year in which the fee for issuing the document confirming the residence was paid.
When accepting documents through the State Corporation, the recipient is given a receipt for the acceptance of the relevant documents.
When contacting the service recipient through the portal, the status of acceptance of the request for the provision of public services is sent.
If the service recipient submits the documents to the State Corporation in person within 2 (two) business days from the date of receipt of the tax application, he receives the result of the state service.
When accessing the portal, the result of the provision of public services is sent to the recipient in the form of an electronic document certified by an EDS of an official of the service provider, the result of the provision of public services or a reasoned response to the refusal to provide public services in the cases and on the grounds specified in Article 217 of the Tax Code is issued on paper.
In a State Corporation, ready-made documents are issued to the service recipient on the basis of a receipt for the receipt of the relevant documents upon presentation of an identity card.
