A meeting with representatives of the Department of State Asset Management Policy of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the central office of the State Property and Privatization Committee.
The meeting presented the main directions of state policy on state property management and privatization.
Zhadyra Temirbayeva, Director of the MNE Department, spoke about the legislative work carried out.
Committee staff presented proposals for amendments to state property legislation.
They jointly discussed issues of corporate governance, the effective management of JSCs, LLPs, and SOEs, and trust management.
Committee staff expressed their wishes for sharing experiences with qualified specialists in this area, implementing global practices in the activities of government agencies, and other topics, as well as revising the dividend policy of non-profit joint-stock companies and the profitability (loss) of JSCs, LLPs, and SOEs.
The parties agreed to hold regular meetings on a number of systemic issues.
