As part of the charity project "QH – 100 children's gyms", the Kazakhstan Halkyna Foundation provided gratuitous assistance by providing the school sports hall of Turgusun village with modern equipment and sports equipment.
Akim of Altai region Renat Kurmambayev noted that such projects are of great importance for the development of rural areas.:
- Caring for the younger generation is caring for the future of the country. When modern conditions for sports and creativity are created in villages, it inspires children and strengthens parents' faith in the future. We see how, thanks to the cooperation of the state, the Kazakhstan Khalqyna Foundation and local communities, the lives of our residents are changing. Such initiatives make our villages vibrant, promising and attractive to young people.
Now the students of the village can play sports in a comfortable and safe environment. The gym received a wrestling mat, wall protectors, a metal screen, a corner console for a bag, a boxing bag, a wrestling module for practicing throws, a wrestling dummy, as well as a set of medballs weighing from 3 to 11 kg, a functional frame and other modern projectiles. This equipment meets all safety and quality requirements, allowing for high-level training.
According to the teachers and coaches, the renovation of the sports base has become a significant event for the whole school. Now the guys have the opportunity not only to do physical education, but also to develop sports skills, try themselves in various types of martial arts, strengthen their health and believe in their own strength.
- We are grateful to the Kazakhstan Khalqyna Foundation for its attention to rural schools. It is a great inspiration for our students to study with modern equipment, to feel that they are taken care of and believe in their potential," said Kanat Isabaev, a teacher at the school.
The "QH – 100 children's gyms" project is aimed at increasing the accessibility of sports infrastructure in rural areas, creating conditions for the physical and spiritual development of children. After all, it is at school that habits are formed that remain for life: a love of sports, a desire for success, discipline and team spirit.
