Since the beginning of the year, 6 foci of particularly dangerous infectious animal diseases have been registered in the region. Of these, 3-rabies, 1-emphysema, 1-listeriosis, 1-rhinotracheitis. In the registered foci, appropriate veterinary and preventive measures are carried out, and an epizootic situation is formed.
In addition, this year, as a result of a serological study for brucellosis, 197 heads of cattle were identified, 14 heads of small cattle reacted positively to brucellosis, and measures are being taken in accordance with the requirements of veterinary and sanitary rules.

In the region, 254 computers with the built-in program "identification of farm animals"are fully connected to the Internet.
According to the agreement between the Minister of agriculture and the Governor of the region, there are 112 slaughterhouses in the region,that is, 35 slaughterhouses, 77 slaughterhouses. Since the beginning of the year, 6,690 heads of cattle, 7,716 heads of small cattle, 1,099 heads of horses, and 3,969 heads of pigs have been slaughtered in them.
