
Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi had a phone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The parties discussed the coronavirus infection in the two countries, and shared information about measures taken to combat its spread.
Mr. Tileuberdi expressed gratitude to UAE for the humanitarian assistance provided to Kazakhstan, emphasizing that this was a perfect example of the friendly relations between the countries.
The sides also discussed Kazakh-Emirati cooperation and interaction within international organizations.
On April 6, 2020, by the decision of the UAE government, approximately 13 tons of humanitarian aid was delivered from Abu Dhabi to Nur-Sultan. This included medical protective equipment, such as disposable gloves, medical masks, shoe covers, and antiseptics.
