About the Embassy
The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Kenya was opened in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The tasks of the Embassy include comprehensive assistance in the development of bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Kenya and a number of other countries in East Africa, including in such areas as political and cultural-humanitarian cooperation, trade, investment, defense, space, sports, etc.
In addition, the Embassy is called upon to develop cooperation with the UN Office in Nairobi.
The UN Nairobi Centre - the UN Office in Nairobi, Kenya, is the headquarters of the UN in Africa, including the main offices of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and the UN Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat).
