Termination of powers of the member of the Public Council is part of the Law of November 2, 2015 "On public councils" (hereinafter – the Law). In accordance with paragraph 6 of the Rules, it is not allowed to re-nominate for the Award within 3 (three) years after it was received by a non-governmental organization. The same non-governmental organization is not nominated for the Award in more than one direction.

The awards are granted in accordance with the Rules for Awarding Prizes for Non-Governmental Organizations, approved by Order No. 52 of the Minister of Religious Affairs and Civil Society of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 25, 2018. Applications for the Awards are submitted by non-governmental organizations.
