
On 13 December 2019 the Protocol of Accession of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Advisory Center on WTO Lawwas signed in Geneva.
The Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the UN and other international organizations in Geneva, Ambassador Zhanar Aitzhanova highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation with the Advisory center. Membership of Kazakhstan at this Center is vital as currently our country initiated consultations with several countries in accordance with the WTO procedures to seek dispute resolution on cases related to application of anti – dumping practices against Kazakhstan’s products.
The Advisory Center on WTO Law as an international organization provides legal assistance to its Members in trade disputes and conducts trainings on international trade law to government representatives.
The Advisory Center on WTO Law is an intergovernmental organization established in 2011 and based in Geneva. The Advisory Centre has 81 Member-countries.
The Advisory centre provided legal support to Member countries in over 50 trade disputes, which represented 20 % of all WTO litigations.
