As part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University, the Department of Internal State Audit for the North Kazakhstan Region held a career guidance meeting with university students. The aim of the event was to familiarize future specialists with the activities of internal state audit bodies, promote public service, and increase young people's interest in financial and economic professions. During the meeting, Department employees spoke about the main tasks and functions of internal state audit bodies, the specifics of public service, requirements for candidates, as well as career growth prospects within the system of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Holding such events helps strengthen interaction between government bodies and educational institutions, as well as build human resource potential for public service.
May 1 is the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan. This holiday reflects public harmony and stability, as well as mutual respect and cooperation among representatives of various ethnic groups in our country. The holiday has been celebrated since 1996. In accordance with the Decree of October 18, 1995 May 1 was declared the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan. The Department of Internal State Audit for the North Kazakhstan Region held an Open Doors Day for graduating students of Secondary School No. 12 as part of implementing the Action Plan to promote civil service values and early career guidance for youth. During the event, the schoolchildren learned about the key areas of the Department's activities. They were informed about conducting financial statement audits and compliance audits, desk control of public procurement, as well as work on initiating administrative proceedings. Special attention was paid to civil service issues. The meeting participants were explained the advantages of working in the public sector, measures of professional support for young specialists, and career growth prospects. The event was held in an open dialogue format, which allowed the students to ask questions of interest and receive detailed answers from the Department's specialists.

During the event, issues of preventing destructive religious movements, preventing discrimination, ensuring civil servants' compliance with Traffic Rules, as well as the requirements of anti-corruption legislation were explained. Special attention was paid to the formation of legal culture, strengthening of service discipline, and providing mentoring support to young employees. Such events contribute to increasing professional responsibility, legal literacy, and strengthening the principles of conscientious public service.
The Committee held an "Open Doors Day" event for master's students of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main goal of the meeting was to talk about the state audit system, increase interest in public service, and attract young specialists to the ranks of state auditors. An international scientific and practical conference on the topic “State Audit in Ensuring a High Quality of Life and National Security” was held at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. During the plenary session, the Head of the Department of Internal State Audit for the City of Astana of the Committee of Internal State Audit of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Murat Orazbay, delivered a report on the results of a study concerning the training of state auditors in the context of the digital transformation of internal state audit. In his speech, Murat Orazbay emphasized the importance of improving the qualifications of state auditors in light of the growing budget expenditures on digitalization. He also shared the results of implementing a modern digital tool for internal audit — the “Online Budget Monitoring” module, which enables remote monitoring of budget payments made under the guise of salaries for employees of social sector organizations in order to identify risky and anomalous financial transactions. The conference concluded with a summary session, during which participants highlighted the importance of open dialogue between government bodies and the academic community in shaping an effective model of state audit aimed at improving the quality of life of the population and ensuring national security.
At the initiative of the Department of Internal State Audit for the city of Astana, a working meeting was held with the heads and specialists responsible for public procurement in the subordinate organizations of the Astana City Education Department. Representatives of the Department explained the latest changes in the Rules for conducting desk control, as well as presented new directions and tools of the Department’s activities. During the meeting, the Department’s representatives also emphasized the expansion of the coverage of desk control of procurements and the most frequent violations committed by contracting authorities. Separately, the participants were explained the procedure for responding to the Department’s notifications, the deadlines for their fulfillment, and the financial response measures applied in case of non-compliance by contracting authorities with notifications within the framework of desk control of public procurement procedures. Continuing and promoting the concept of open dialogue, the Department’s representatives provided detailed answers to questions posed by representatives of educational institutions and the Education Department, analyzing specific examples. At the conclusion of the meeting, it was noted that the Department will continue enhanced control over procurements for the needs of government bodies and organizations, ensuring regular meetings to clarify new developments in the public procurement process.
The Department of Internal State Audit for the Zhetisu region held a seminar with the participation of representatives of the Internal State Audit Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main purpose of the seminar was to explain and ensure compliance with legislation in the field of state audit and financial control, in particular the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Combating Corruption” and “On State Audit and Financial Control”, as well as the rules for conducting internal state audits approved by orders of the Minister of Finance and the requirements of the Code of Ethics. The head of the Legal Department of the Committee, Aset Omarov, provided explanations on topical issues of legislation application and shared practical recommendations. In particular, the following issues were considered: the procedure and deadlines for the implementation of recommendations issued based on the audit results; procedures for referring materials with signs of violations to the competent authorities; compliance with the regulations on interaction with the prosecutor's office and pre-trial investigation bodies; ensuring the independence of state auditors. During the meeting, participants received comprehensive answers to all their questions, as well as specific recommendations on how to avoid difficulties in their work. The Committee will continue to provide methodological and advisory assistance to regional divisions.
