In his speech, Murat Orazbay emphasized the importance of improving the qualifications of state auditors in light of the growing budget expenditures on digitalization. He also shared the results of implementing a modern digital tool for internal audit — the “Online Budget Monitoring” module, which enables remote monitoring of budget payments made under the guise of salaries for employees of social sector organizations in order to identify risky and anomalous financial transactions.
The conference concluded with a summary session, during which participants highlighted the importance of open dialogue between government bodies and the academic community in shaping an effective model of state audit aimed at improving the quality of life of the population and ensuring national security.
